Our History
African Child Productions was originally conceptualized in 1998 by the world renowed Durban born and bred dancer, musician and choreographer Vukani Khoza with the intention to give talented South African youth a shot at the music industry. As part of the talented Kwaito duo Skomplazi (Vukani & Zolani) decided to move to Johannesburg in 2000 for better economic opportunities.

It was after the success of their single Sikhaba Amabhodlela released under Ghetto Ruff that Vukani realised that the African child's dream can come true. In 2007 the company was officially launched and based in Johannesburg.

In it's 20 years of existence, the company has grown into a fully fledged entertainment empire which manages artists, a dance school, and offer marketing related services to companies such as brand activation, video shoots and corporate performances.
The dance school is run from Rotunda Park in Turffontein, Johannesburg and has provided dancers and choreography to a wide array of artists such as Davido, AKA, Casper Nyovest, Kwesta, and even international acts such as Beyonce Knowles.
Among other accolades, African Child Entertainment artists & dancers toured London with Afrika-Afrika in 2008. Our dancers also performed during the opening and closing ceremony of the Orange AFCON Cup 2013. African Child Entertainment currently has artists that cater for music genres that range from Pop, Hip-Hop, Kwaito to House. As showstoppers, African Child artists are always performing locally and internationally. More recently, African Child founder Vukani has been in the forefront of the latest craze of the AmaPiano music genre with hits such as Gong-Gong song, Shelela, Shukela and Siyabanika.
